From a master’s side interest to designing products with teams.
I’m Erwan. I specialize in mobile and web products, design systems that hold up in production, and prototypes people can actually test.
I first got interested in design during my master’s degree in 2015, and that curiosity quickly grew into a real obsession. I taught myself every tool I could get my hands on and experimented as much as I could.
In 2017, I co-founded a web agency with two friends and worked as its UX/UI designer, building digital products for startups and small businesses. That’s where I really learned by doing, from branding to product thinking. In 2020, I joined immersiv.io and moved into product design.
Today I work freelance and with Vision First, on projects as far apart as a tender platform for a public works company and a website built like a 1984 Macintosh. The messier the problem, the more I enjoy untangling it.
How I work
What I focus on
- 01
Starting from people
Every project starts with users. I dig into their needs before drawing anything, and keep checking back with them as the product takes shape.
- 02
Making the fuzzy clear
Undefined problems don’t scare me. I structure them, simplify them, and turn the complexity into something the whole team can grasp and act on.
- 03
Exploring more, with AI
I explore far more directions than I used to, and bring working prototypes early, so developers and the team decide on something real, not a static mockup. The time it gives back goes into products people actually enjoy using.
- 04
Rooted in branding and UI
It’s where I started, and it still shows: interfaces polished down to the last state, custom icons, and identities that hold together across every screen.
Out of the office
When I’m not designing, I’m usually building something with my hands, like an A-frame cabin. The rest of the time: a film camera, my next trip, or a vintage bike.
Experience
Where I’ve worked
From a 3-person web agency to apps used by thousands of fans for the NBA, the NHL, DAZN and the US Open, and now small businesses and a Vision Pro studio. Different sizes, same reflex: I adapt to the context and find a way to ship.

2025–Present
Freelance Vision First
Product Designer
Freelance on the side from 2023, full-time since October 2025. I work with startups and small companies from the first workshop to a live product. The way I work has changed along with the job: my own methods, from discovery checklists to case study structure, now run as reusable AI skills, and Figma is connected to code through MCP, so a validated flow becomes a working prototype the same week.
I’m also part of Vision First, a studio crafting spatial experiences for Apple Vision Pro.
-
2020–2025
Product Designer, Mobile & visionOS
I spent 5 years at immersiv.io, a company specializing in AR/VR experiences for sports and entertainment. Within a cross-functional product team of designers, developers, and a PM, I worked on mobile apps and headset experiences, covering everything from user research to prototyping, 3D creation tools, design systems, and data analysis.
During this time, I collaborated with major sports organizations such as the NBA, FIFA, the NHL, F1 and DAZN on projects that reached hundreds of thousands of users, like the Club World Cup 2025 app with DAZN (used by more than 80,000 people) or the US Open app, over the 2025 and 2026 tournaments (used by over 323,000 people).

2017–2021
Avem Création
Co-founder, UX/UI Designer
I co-founded Avem Création, a small web agency, where I worked as the sole designer alongside 2 developers. I got to explore many areas, from product and motion design to branding and marketing. Over the years, we launched around 20 projects, including MVPs, SaaS improvements, and landing pages.

2018
Nimley
Web Designer
For 6 months, I designed and developed websites for companies preparing for their IPOs. My challenge was to make complex data accessible while creating strong, reassuring visual identities that built trust with investors.
